Welcome to Whistling Dixie Schnauzers located on 28 acres in North Alabama. My name is Heather McIntosh, I fell in love with the schnauzer breed when I got my first puppy Nala.  When I realized how much I enjoyed having her, I soon brought home Finley a 3lb puppy that thought he was a Great Dane, who my husband nicknamed "Pistol Pete".  My love for this breed just grew from there.  I now have 7 Schnauzers of my own.  My goal here is to enhance the wonderful qualities of the miniature schnauzer breed.  They are beautiful, loyal, loving, and very smart. Be aware that most the time once you own one you end up with another! We specialize in standard schnauzer colors; salt & pepper, black & silver, & liver and tan mega coats but we are venturing out into merles & roans.
